KP govt to establish small industrial estate phase-II in D.I Khan

Special Assistant to Chief Minister for Industry and Trade Abdul Karim Khan has said that the provincial government has decided to establish second phase of small industrials estate at Dera Ismail Khan District, adding that the Small Industrial Board has been tasked to initiate work on the estate as early as possible.
He expressed these views during his visit to the small industrial estate of Dera Ismail Khan phase II site here on Thursday.
Abdul Karim Khan said on the occasion that the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has allocated around 400 kanals of land for set-up the industrial estate in the district.
DMD Muhammad Saleem Association President Ali Raza Khan Gandapur SIDB staff and local administration officers were also present with him on this occasion.
Talking to the industrialists on this occasion, he said that the industrial estate was connected and located at a distance of 10 kilometers from Bannu Road and the establishment of this new industrial township will develop economic activities.
More than 30 factories have started production in Small Industrial Estate Dera Ismail Khan phase-1 and more factory owners have also shown their interests in setting up their business in the estate, he added.
