As part of the observance of Black Day marking India’s illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir, the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has announced a major rally and walk to be held in Peshawar on Monday.
According to a notification issued by the Administration Department, officials and staff from all provincial departments, led by their respective heads, will assemble in front of Azam Khan Block, Civil Secretariat, at 9:20 AM. The walk will proceed towards the Chief Minister’s Secretariat and culminate at the Governor’s House.
At 10:00 AM, participants will observe a one-minute silence, followed by speeches from leaders of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) and other dignitaries. The observance aims to highlight India’s continued violations of international and humanitarian law in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Similar rallies and seminars will be held in other districts across the province to express solidarity with the oppressed people of Kashmir.
