Khyber Pakhtunkhwa health minister Syed Qasim Ali Shah made a surprise visit to Lady Reading (LRH) Hospital on Friday following a complaint about treatment at the hospital posted on social media by a journalist.
Provincial health minister visited the ICU and met with the patient and their family, listened to their grievances and directed the hospital administration to look after the patients’ difficulties and solve them.
Qasim Ali Shah also ordered the administration of the hospital to submit a fact-finding report by Monday. He warned that swift action will be taken against anyone found guilty of negligence in providing the best treatment to the patient.
