PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Irrigation Riaz Khan on Sunday inspected under-construction flood protection walls in Bishonai area of Buner district. Speaking on event, the minister directed officials to accelerate pace of work to ensure project’s earliest completion. These walls are built under Flood Protection and Dredging Scheme, specifically designed to safeguard local communities from future flooding. The minister said that there would be no compromise on quality, ordering department to execute all remaining tasks strictly in line with approved engineering standards, technical specifications, transparency, and accountability.
