KP Police rendered unmatched sacrifices against terrorism

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Inspector General of Police Moazzam Jah Ansari on Monday made a special visit to Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) compound in district Bannu and said that police force of the province had rendered unparalleled sacrifices in the fight against terrorism, said a handout .IG-KP reviewed the progress of the construction of the CTD compound destroyed during the operation against the terrorists. 
The compound was attacked by terrorists and after a major operation it was blown up by the security forces. IG-KP Moazzam Jah Ansari was received by the Regional Police Officer(RPO). He also presided over a meeting of top police officials.DIG Bannu briefed the forum regarding the security measures taken for the establishment of law and order in the region. District Police Officer (DPO) Bannu, DPO Lucky Marwat and other concerned senior police officials attended the meeting.
The police chief directed the participants of the meeting to inform the police officers about the sensitivity and nature. He directed officers to ensure at all costs to wear bulletproof jackets and helmets during their duties on different spots and conducting operations.
Moazzam Jah Ansari maintained that Bannu region is of great geographical importance and reiterated the resolve that no compromise would be made on maintaining law and order situation in the province.“Policemen are a valuable asset of the force and directed the participants of the meeting to solve the problems and difficulties faced by the force personnel on priority basis,” he added and said that police welfare needs to be ensured.
Later, the IGP also inspected the crime scene of the CTD Bannu compound and the ongoing work at the CTD compound under construction. On this occasion, the IGP praised the CTD Bannu region and district police for their excellent performance, professional enthusiasm and efficiency against miscreants. 
The IGP also paid tribute tothe valuable services of the personnel who laid down their precious lives in the operation against the terrorists. The IGP paid tribute to the professionalism and bravery of the braveand warrant officers and men of the Pakistan Army, who have always made great sacrifices for the protection of the motherland.
