The KP Sports Fest (Autocross) competitions organized by the Directorate General of Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have come to an end. Hassan won first position in front wheel drive with 46 seconds, Hasnat Ahmed came second with 49 seconds and Haris Khan came third with 50 seconds.
More than one hundred vehicles from all over the country participated in the race in six different categories.
Chief guest of the closing ceremony, Director General Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Abdul Nasir, distributed prizes among the winning players.
He was accompanied by Director Development Naimatullah, Director Finance Shafaisal, Deputy Director Operation Jamshed Baloch and Administrators Jafar Shah, Fida Muhammad and Hanif Khan.
More than 100 vehicles participated in the unique Autocross Motor Sports Festival held at Qayyum Sports Complex Peshawar and being held for the first time in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Talking to the media, DG Sports Abdul Nasir said that the main objective of organizing the event is to promote motor sports in the province.
The said event is being organized as per the vision of the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under the leadership of Provincial Sports Minister Syed Fakhar Jahan.
The youth took extraordinary interest in the Autocross Show held for the first time in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and more than 200 vehicles from all over the country registered, out of which 120 vehicles were selected for the final round.
