KP wins silver medal in National Road Cycling Championship

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa team performed well in the 6th National Road Cycling Championship and won the silver medal in the event.
The province clinched silver medal in men’s team trial, bronze medal in women’s team time trial.
According to the details, Mohsin Khan of KP won bronze medal in individual team trial, bronze medal in ceremonial race and individual team trial youth. Aseedullah won bronze medal in Rider. Teams from all four provinces, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan and Baikistan Academy participated in the championship organized by Pakistan Cycling Federation.
Overall, Baykistan Academy won the championship while KP team remained runners-up in the event.
The Khyber men’s and women’s teams included Mohsin Khan, Farman Mohammad, Imran, Umar Farooq, Sajid Ali Khan, Yousuf, Samreen, Sonia, Malaika Shahid, Noorul Ain, Faryal Aman and Nazia Khan. Pakistan Cycling Federation President Syed Azhar Ali Shah and KP Cycling Association President Nisar Ahmad Khan congratulated the team and the athletes who won medals in individual events on winning the silver medal.
