Najmul Saqib of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa clinched under-15 national junior badminton title. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa secured first position among the provinces by winning one gold, three silvers and four browns medals.
National Junior Badminton Championship was held in Karachi under the auspices of Pakistan Badminton Federation.
Najamul Saqib of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa defeated Haseeb Khan of KP by 22-20 and 21-19. In U-19 final, Pakistan Army’s Manan defeated Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Mohammad Zaid by 21-19 and 21-17 to win the gold medal. Qari Umar and Taimur Khan of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa won browns medal in U-17. In Girls Under-17 Final, Pakistan Army’s Amara, won Gold Army’s Sarwat, Silver Sindh’s Sana Hanif won Browns Medal.
In girls under-19, Maryam Hanif of Sindh won gold, Samia won silver, Kanza of Punjab won browns medal. The team of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa participated in the championship under the coaching of Hayatullah and Bushra, who showed the best.
