The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa team showed excellent performance in the National Climbing Championship and won several medals. Secretary General Najeeb Khattak said that Shahzad Ahmed won bronze in the bouldering category, Muhammad Salman Khan won silver in the lead category and Sher Ayaz won bronze medals. Teams from all the provinces, Higher Education Commission and SNGPL participated in the championship.
Head of Sweet Home Zamrud Khan distributed prizes among the players among the winners. Overall, SNGPL won first position in the championship.
Abuzar Faiz won gold medals in speed climbing, Saifuddin in lead, Saifuddin in bouldering and Hassan Faiz in rock climbing.
This is the best performance of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa team in the national championship . Najeeb Khattak says that he will soon meet with the Director General Sports to promote climbing in the province and a national-level event will be organized in Peshawar.
