KP’s builder’s association visits Sarhad chamber of commerce

PESHAWAR: A delegation of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Builders and Developers Association and Town Owners Association on Wednesday paid a visit to Sarhad Chamber of Commerce.

The delegation met with Manzoor Elahi, Senior Vice President of the Chamber – KP Builders and Town Owners Association President Iftikhar Ahmed, General Secretary Zia-ul-Haq Afridi, Vice President Shah Faisal and Information Secretary Muhammad Hassan and other members.

The meeting apprised the senior vice president of the chamber of their problems and said that the government was abusing Bloods and Town Owners. Gas, water, and electricity are not being supplied, which threatens to drown their investments, he said, adding that PDA officials were filing FIRs against the owners even though builders and developers were trying to provide affordable housing to the citizens. And the town owners have a big hand.

He told the president of the chamber that the old colonies are not being regularized in which the chamber should cooperate with them otherwise, the investors will be forced to take their capital to Punjab and other provinces.

Listened to their problems and reassured them to Issue orders to the Secretary Border Chamber of Commerce regarding the appointment of President Iftikhar Ahmed as Chairman of the Standing Committee and assured that the Chamber would continue its efforts to resolve their issues and raise their issues at every forum.
