An important meeting held here on Thursday with Minister for Labor and Parliamentary Affairs Shaukat Yousifzai in the chair, approved regularization of 2500 contract employees of Worker Welfare Board (WWB), said a handout.
The forum was informed that the scrutiny committee has completed the scrutiny process of contract employees of the Workers Welfare Board across the province and the department concerned would issue a notification to this end very soon.
According to details, the committee has scrutinized and cleared the documents of 2500 contract employees out of 3000 while 130 people have been given a deadline of two weeks for completion of their deficiencies including verification of their degrees.
The meeting was attended by the Director Worker Welfare Board Dr Amjad Ali and other relevant officials of the department.
The Minister for Labor and Parliamentary Affairs maintained that the process of scrutiny has been completed with utmost transparency, adding that no one would be deprived of its right and service regularization of contract employees would be completed as soon as possible.
Provincial Minister Shaukat Yousafzai while congratulating all employees who have been recommended for regularization added that he did not want to terminate any deserving employee from service, adding the scrutiny committee completed its task in a very efficient manner.
He also directed the quarter concerned to bring more improvements and reforms in the department for the facilitation of workers serving under the Worker Welfare Board in the province.
