ISLAMABAD
Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Sunday held a meeting with Chairman of Jamot Qaumi Movement and former Balochistan Minister Mir Abdul Majeed Abro and discussed the overall political situation, inter-provincial affairs and matters of mutual interest.
Prominent political and social figure Nazir Abro was also present during the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said close coordination among political leadership was imperative to strengthen national unity, uphold democratic values and address public issues.
He said the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) had always played a positive role in protecting the rights of the people of Balochistan, adding that the party’s leadership had made sincere efforts for the province’s development, which earned it public support.
The meeting also reviewed issues relating to Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Governor Kundi invited Mir Abdul Majeed Abro to join the Pakistan Peoples Party during the meeting.
