Lack of teaching facilities and inadequate services of transport and building hindering learners of the lonely government college in Bara to get knowledge.
The views were expressed by the students union President of Government Degree College, Kohi Sherhaider, Shah Saud while addressing a press conference held in Bara press club last day.
He said that classes of BS had been suspended for the last eight years for unknown reasons and only Faculty of Arts ( FA )and Faculty of Sciences(FSc) level studies were continued that deprived hundreds of students of degree level learning.
He maintained that construction work on the college building had been launched in 2016 but ironically it had not been completed in 2024 that put a question mark on the efficiency of the concerned departments.
The college bus had been missing for the last four years that deprived students of remote villages of cheap transport facility, he opined.
He threatened that if BS classes were not resumed besides transport facility was not placed and building works were not completed in near future then the union with support of all students would begin indefinite protest in favor of their demands.
