LAHORE: Intermittent rainfall continued to lash different parts of the city, with the average precipitation recorded at 62 millimeters, according to meteorological data. Among the areas, Farrukhabad received the highest rainfall at 140.6 mm, followed closely by Sagian with 139.6 mm. Other significant rainfall totals included 126 mm at Paniwala Talab, 91.6 mm at Upper Mall, and 89.2 mm at Lakshmi Chowk. At Chowk Nakhuda, 86.4 mm of rain was recorded, while Gulshan-e-Ravi received 75.8 mm. In Samanabad, the rainfall measured 75.2 mm, whereas the WASA Head Office in Gulberg recorded 72 mm. Jail Road saw 58.2 mm of rain, and Shadipura received 54.6 mm. The persistent downpours have affected routine life in various parts of the city, with water accumulation reported in low-lying areas.
