ISLAMABAD :Akbar S Babar has said larger bench has been constituted in prohibited funding case but he has not been made respondent.
“We think that where election commission decision has been challenged we should be made respondent” he said this while talking to media men outside Islamabad High Court (IHC) here Wednesday.
“I have been saying that this is the biggest funding scandal of the history of country and PTI leader is involved in it., he said adding Financial Times report proved dollars came from Abraaj . Imran Khan you filed several petitions to stop truth from coming to open. Financial Times story destroys your claims that you did hide nothing. Why you don’t file claim against Financial Times. You have enormous trust on the courts of that country”, he underlined.
He went on to say the decision for constituting larger bench is good omen. We welcome it. This case will change the politics of Pakistan. What decisions come in coming days in the backdrop of show cause they will be eye opener for the nation.
“PTI is our home and we have started from our home first. The investigations in respect of other parties is underway. We offer our services if election commission seeks any assistance, he remarked.
