Consecutively elected as Member of the Punjab Assembly (MPA) four times Mehr Mohammad Nawaz Khan Bharwana and Mehr Ali Nawaz Bharwana called on Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and announced to join Pakistan Muslim League (PML) leaving Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf (PTI) onThursday.
Ch Parvez Elahi welcomed Mehr Muhammad Nawaz Khan Bharwana on joining the party and said that Pakistan Muslim League leadership takes its political colleagues along, new colleagues will be given important responsibilities in the political process.
Ch Parvez Elahi said that the PML will fully and actively participate in the next local bodies election, local government institutions play important role in solving the peoples’ problems at lower level, the government and the opposition should bring to the fore concrete proposals regarding issues pertaining to the peoples’ problems and implement them.
