LG system nursery for politics, democracy: Faiq

Chairman, Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) Muhammad Faiq Shah said local bodies election system was nursery of politics as well as democracy.
However, he regretted that that if the government had timely conducted local bodies’ elections in the country as per commitment, so, situation would emerge differently today.
Faiq was addressing different mass contact committees here at the party’s central secretariat on Saturday.
On the occasion, the party’s central leaders Awais Khan, Arsalan Shah, Raja Bashir Ahmad and provincial leaders Naeemul Jan and others briefed about mass contact committees and said the ATP has become the most popular party of the masses as people in a large number, are joining the party.
The party chairman noted that tug of war for power, politics based on personality and mismanagement has pushed into difficult situations.
Mr Shah criticized that the governments have failed to establish their writ anywhere in the country.
Furthermore, he castigated issues that are unresolved while inflation, and a new burden of cruelty has been imposed on poor masses. He said the people have been deprived of bread and butter.
The ATP chief vowed they will fight against every cruel segment in local bodies’ polls across the country.

Meanwhile, the leaders said the time is not far away when ATP will be the largest party and public force.
The ATP chief asked people to come forward so they will raise their authority and legitimate rights.
He emphasized that people should understand the importance of changing the system through vote.
In the meanwhile, Amun Taraqqi Party central information secretary Awais Khan on Saturday unveiled names of intending candidates which were participating in forthcoming local bodies’ polls in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under the party tickets.
In a statement issued here, Awais said the party has issued tickets to hundreds of people in K-P.
He elaborated that tickets have been issued for youth councilors, tehsil chairman and general councilors that include Naeemul Jan, Faraan Khan, Asghar Ali, Arbab Rashid, Siddique Ahmad, Muhammad Saleem, Qaiser Khan, Obaid Anwar, Niaz Ali Shah, Muhammad Asif, Muhammad Najman, Sajjad Ahmad, Muhammad Naeem, Asif Khan, Ejaz Ahmad and Taj Muhammad.
The ATP leader said a message of justice, authority and accountability has been conveyed during the door-to-door campaign.
“Our narrative and slogan is ‘Public Authority for once,’”
When the people can get justice it would remove betrayal and injustice forever, says Awais Khan.
He said equal participation of people in consultation, power and authority will be ensured at every level.
The ATP leader said the voice of public authority has reached throughout the country as people are joining our party rapidly.
