LAHORE
Lahore High Court (LHC) has adjourned for indefinite period the hearing of petitions filed by PTI founder Imran Khan against contempt of Election Commission (EC).
The petitions filed by Imran Khan against contempt of EC came up for hearing before LHC Monday.
Full bench of LHC adjourned the hearing for indefinite period.
The hearing could not take place being Justice Alia Neelam, head of the bench on leave.
Lahore High Court office will fix the next hearing.
A 3-member bench of LHC presided over by Justice Alia Neelam was to hear the petitions.
The court has already sought arguments regarding jurisdiction of the petitions.
It is pertinent to mention here Former Chairman PTI Imran Khan has challenged in high court his jail trial in contempt of election commission case.
