Justice Farooq Haider of Lahore High Court (LHC) has recused from hearing Maryam Nawaz passport return case.
Maryam Nawaz plea in connection with return of her passport came up for hearing before LHC Tuesday.
Justice Farooq Haider recused himself from hearing the case for personal reasons.
The court referred the file to Cheif Justice (CJ) LHC Amir Bhatti. The file has been returned with a note that the CJ should fix the case for hearing with some other bench.
On the other hand NAB Prosecutor while raising objections over return of passport to Maryam Nawaz said case is pending hearing against Maryam Nawaz with Supreme Court (SC). NAB attack case is also pending hearing against her.
According to NAB prosecutor all the accused except Maryam Nawaz have fled the country.If Maryam Nawaz goes abraod then it is feared they will not return to country.
