Young man kidnapping case
RAWALPINDI
Justice Sadaqat Ali Khan of Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi bench has ordered investigating officer to hold investigation into case of kidnapping of a young man on merit and not to accept pressure whatsoever in this matter.
The court while wrapping up petition directed petitioner he can file application for changing the investigation in case he is not satisfied with the police investigation.
The court issued these orders on the petition filed by father of kidnapped person.
Ghulam Sarwar father of the young abductee Shahid Iqbal resident of Chakwal while making DPO Mianwali, SHO Police station Chapri Mianwali and investing officer of the case respondents had taken plea in his petition that his son got Rs 250000 from home and went to Islamabad along with his friends to purchase I-phone on June 27. But he did not return till evening. Later his mobile also was found switched off.
Earlier the son told on phone that he had come to Mianwali along with his friends Khan Baba , Makhdoom Murtaza Hussain , Kamran, Suleman and their two friends to visit Jinnah Barrage and Chapri Dam but when he went to Chapri area in search of his son due to closure of his mobile phone he came to know it is border area of KP. The petitioner suspects that his son has been abducted by his friends.
It is pertinent to mention here that following the abduction of the young boy, Chapri police had registered case No 42 on July 2 under section 365 of criminal procedure on the report of his father
Father of abductee told in the premises of court that police registered case of kidnapping after five days of incident but despite lapse of five months the police had neither arrested the nominated accused nor his son could be recovered.
Due to it the entire family is in agony. We don’t know our son is in what plight. However we hope that court will administer justice to us.
