Mayor Mardan, Himayatullah Mayar strongly criticized the chief minister Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and the PTI leadership for not inviting the Mayor Mardan in the inauguration ceremony of two projects of the City government.
In a press statement Mayor Mardan said that the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is inaugurating two important projects of Tehsil Municipal Administration / City Local Government, Mega Park Ring Road and City Improvement Program in Mardan on Thursday. He added that however the chief minister and PTI local leadership did not invite him as Mayor Mardan in the inauguration ceremony of two projects of the city government.
Himayatullah Mayar added that the PTI’s childish and partisan politics have undermined the constitutionality and financial status of local governments. He added that due to this attitude of the PTI government toward local governments the local governments become ineffective, dysfunctional.
He argued that as a result due to poor governance, social service delivery and local development has remained a dream.
Mayor added that City Local Government Mardan and City Local Council strongly condemn the behavior of the local leadership of PTI and the Chief Minister.
