RAJANPUR: A couple who contracted a love marriage was shot dead in Ranipur, district Khairpur. Police said that members of the Bugti and Chandia clans exchanged fire over the issue of love marriage between the girl and the boy of their respective clans a short while ago. The couple was shot dead as a result of firing between the members of both the clans. The slain boy and girl were identified as Bilawal Chandio and Latifan Bibi. Their bodies were shifted to a nearby hospital for autopsy. No arrest has been made so far. However, police said they would soon apprehend the culprits. DNA
