Special Assistant to Chief Minister for Information and Public Relations Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif has said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has completed a number of major developmental projects in the province, adding that Mahmood Khan’s leadership paved ways for development and prosperity in the province.
In a statement issued here on Wednesday, Barrister Saif has claimed that local body representatives from all regions of the province are joining Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
He said that PTI has emerged as one of the most popular political parties in the country, saying the party was mandated by the voters in Punjab, KP and Azad Jummu and Kashmir.
“PTI is the largest party in the country and enjoys the trust of the people of all four provinces, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan,” he added and said that a large number of local government representatives joining Tehreek-e-Insaf in the presence was a clear expression of their confidence in PTI chairman Imran Khan.
The provincial government spokesperson maintained that the ‘imported government’ was using delaying tactics to hold the early and transparent elections in the country.
The leadership of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) was unable to face PTI in elections due to the popularity of Imran Khan and its narrative.
He hoped that in the next general elections, PTI would form a government in the centre and would bag majority seats in all provinces.
