ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) additional secretary and former advisor to Prime Minister Malik Amin Aslam announced to quit his party after 13 years of affiliation. He was one of the close associates of PTI Chairman Imran Khan during the last regime of his party. On Thursday, Malik Amin addressed a press conference in Islamabad and announced his disassociation from the party due to attacks on May 9. Malik Amin said he joined PTI to eliminate but now his party has gone on the wrong path, adding that anti-national agenda is not acceptable. He said unplanned attacks on sensitive military installations are not possible. He criticized the party leadership for not holding an intra-party investigation on the May 9 tragedy in the last 10 days which was a big failure of them. DNA
