Man held for impersonating govt official

PESHAWAR: Acting on public complaints, SHO of Gharbi (West) Police Station, Fahim Shah, has arrested a man involved in forgery and impersonation of a government official. The accused, identified as Hazrat Ali Khan, son of Jinan Khan from Bannu, allegedly tricked citizens into handing over passports under the pretext of visa processing, committing fraud and forgery in the process. During the operation, police recovered several passports, bags, diaries, and cash obtained through deceit. Police said, a case of fraud, impersonation, and forgery has been registered against the accused, and further investigation is underway.
