ISLAMABAD: A man was killed by in-laws for marrying a girl of his own will in Islamabad, Police official said on Monday. According to police, Muhammad Bilawal had left his house after a quarrel with father Chaudhry Manzoor in 2018 and shifted in the F/17 area. Bilawal then fell in love with Shahid Ali’s niece Muqaddas Malik – resident of Karachi’s Baldia Town – and tied a knot with her. Bilawal had last contacted with her family in April 2019, police said. On October 25, police were informed that Bilawal’s in-laws had murdered him and buried his body in the H-11 graveyard. On tip-off, police launched the investigation into the matter. INP
