PESHAWAR: Senior columnist and poet Mansoor Afaq here on Sunday called on the Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi at Governor House and discussed with him various problems faced by his community and people. Governor Faisal Karim Kundi said that positive and constructive criticism for the sake of improvement was productive for a healthy and knowledgeable society. He said the problems could be solved in a better way with positive and responsible journalism. The Governor said that the federal government has announced substantial allocation in the budget especially for the two major projects of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including Chashma Lift Canal and Chakdra Chitral Road, on which the work will soon be started. The Governor said that taking up the case of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with the federal government is one of his top priorities for progress of people of Khyber Pakthunkhwa. A Jirga or task force of all political parties will be formed to discuss the rights and issues of the province in a solid manner with the federation. APP
