A Frontier Corp (FC) troop was laid to rest in his ancestral graveyard in Ghundi village of Jamrud, district Khyber with State honor last day. It is to be mentioned here that three soldiers were martyred in an exchange of fire with terrorists across the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in Kurram district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday. 34-year-old Naik Maweez Khan Afridi was among the three who embraced martyrdom. People from different walks of life including forces officials, parliamentarian councilors, tribal elders and relatives of the deceased participated in the funeral prayer.
