ISLAMABAD
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced a major party reconstitution and appointed his niece Maryam Nawaz Sharif as PML-N Senior Vice-President and chief organiser.
This was announced by PML-N spokesperson and Federal Information Minister Marrriyum Aurangzeb on Tuesday. She also issued a notification carrying Shehbaz Sharif’s signatures. Marriyum Aurangzeb shared a notification on her Twitter handle, stating that Mr Sharif had announced major administrative decisions.
“Pursuant to the powers conferred under the Constitution of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, the undersigned is pleased to appoint Ms Maryam Nawaz Sharif as Senior Vice President” with immediate effect,” the notification reads.
