Mardan chamber of commerce and industry (MCCI) will arranged 3-day “Mardan Trade and Solar Expo” in connection with Independence Day. “The expo will be held on August 12, 13 and 14 at a local wedding hall”.
MCCI president Zahir Shah said while addressing a crowded press conference at Mardan press club. Waqar Bacha, Faqir Saraf, Aftab Mohmand and other trader’s leaders were also present at this occasion. Zahir Shah added that It has been decided to celebrate the Independence Day in a grand manner and colorful events have been organized for the businessmen and citizens in the joy of the Independence month.
Zahir Shah added that currently, the country is facing an energy crisis due to the energy crisis, the businesses of the traders have stopped. He argued that the marble industry and industries at Gujargarhi is declining due to the energy crisis.
He argued that keeping this situation in mind, events have been organized from August 12 to 14 under the name of “Mardan Trade and Solar Expo”. He added that various facilities will be provided in the expo to provide solarization facilities to traders and domestic consumers. He added that in the expo, local traders and industrialists will set up various stalls regarding the development and marketing of their products. The president of the chamber said that entertainment arrangements have been made for children and families at the expo. He added that the Expo has the full support of the Government, District Administration and City Council. Zahir Shah said that there will be other competitions including solar stalls, real estate, cooking competition, magic show, face painting, mehndi design, jewellery, Pakhtun traditional hujra, culture show, quiz and prize house. He appealed to the citizens to participate in the three-day celebrations in maximum number and enjoy the joy and celebrations of Independence Day.
