MCMC members call on CCPO Peshawar

PESHAWAR: The participants of the 36th batch of mid-career management course (MCMC) called on Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Mohammad Ijaz Khan at Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines. The delegation headed by Mirza Khalid Amin discussed the reforms in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police and the efficiency of the personnel.  CCPO Muhammad Ijaz Khan briefed the delegation of MCMC on the current security situation in the province and overall performance of the police in the provincial metropolis. Mohammad Ijaz Khan also shed lights over the police administrative structure, procedures and reforms introduced by the provincial government in the law governing the force. During the briefing by CCPO Muhammad Ijaz Khan informed that special mobile app MVS, VVS, CRVS and DDOK authorization to SHOs was also discussed.  The reforms, DRC councils including PAUL and PAS, have further enhanced the prestige of the police department as well as helping to address public issues on a priority basis. CCPO Peshawar maintained that with the establishment of DRC councils, the problems of the people are being solved at their doorsteps with their mutual consent, which has not only given relief to the people but also reduced a burden on police in discharging their duties in different districts of the province.
