PESHAWAR: An important meeting held here on Tuesday with Deputy Commissioner (DC) Peshawar Afaq Wazir in the chair, reviewed the anti-polio campaign in the provincial capital. Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Sania Safi, ADC (Relief) Muhammad Imran Khan, administrative officers including District Health Officer (DHO) Dr. Muhammad Idrees, Coordinator Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) Dr Muhammad Arif, Deputy District Polio Officer Dr Saifullah, Communication Officer Faisal Khan, Health Department, Police, Education Department, Local Government and other departments officers participated in the meeting. DC Peshawar Afaq Wazir appealed to the parents to give their children polio vaccine to prevent permanent disability and to cooperate with the anti-polio teams so that the polio virus can be eradicated from Peshawar.
