ISLAMABAD: MNA from Balochistan Sardar Akhtar Mengal on Wednesday chaired the meeting of commission formed to address the grievances faced by Baloch students. The commission was formed in light of Islamabad High Court (IHC) orders to investigate sufferings faced by students of Balochistan. In its meeting at the Parliament House Wednesday, Commission’s Secretary briefed the members regarding the progress made so far in connection with compilation of the report to be submitted before the Court in the coming days. Members held detailed discussion over the content of draft report in light of interaction with different stakeholders in particular during recent visit to Quetta. Members were of the unanimous view that findings to be made part of the Report should reflect detailed analytical narration of facts in conformity with the ground realities whereas the recommendations, so formulated, must stimulate cogent action on part of the Federal Government, Provincial Governments, Security Agencies and other stakeholders towards solution of the issue.
