Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Minister for Public Health Engineering, Pakhtunyar Khan, visited the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital in Bannu, accompanied by Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shahab Ali Shah and Inspector General of Police Zulfiqar Hameed. During the visit, he inquired about the health of those injured in the recent blast and assured them of all possible support.
The provincial minister listened to the concerns of the injured and distributed gifts among them. Medical Director Dr. Muhammad Iqbal provided a detailed briefing on the medical facilities being provided and the health status of the injured.
Commissioner Bannu Division Muhammad Ali Shah, Regional Police Officer Imran Shahid, Deputy Commissioner Bannu Abdul Hameed Khan, District Police Officer Ziauddin, and other officials were also present on the occasion.
Later, while speaking to the media, Pakhtunyar Khan expressed solidarity with the people of Bannu and assured them that the provincial government stands with them in this difficult time. He stated that data on the damages caused by the blast is being collected, and a relief package will be provided for the martyrs and the injured. Additionally, compensation will be given to those whose homes were affected.
He emphasized that restoring peace in Bannu requires joint efforts from both the government and the people. “True peace can only be achieved when citizens and institutions work together,” he remarked. Condemning the attack, he stated that targeting innocent civilians is an act of sheer brutality. The minister reassured the people of Bannu that the provincial government would not abandon them in this crisis and would extend all necessary support. He further stated that all government machinery would be mobilized to eliminate Khwari
