Minister for C&W promises completion of road projects in erstwhile Fata

The caretaker provincial minister for Construction and Works (C&) Muhammad Ali Shah on Saturday said his main task was to ensure completion of unfinished road projects in all districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, saying “ will get the ongoing roads projects in Newly Merged Areas (NMAs) completed in a transparent way”.
He said during his address at a function organized at the residence of former Member National Assembly (MNA) Shahabuddin Khan in Pasht area of Tehsil Salarzai.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bajaur Anwarul Haq, former MNA Shahabuddin Khan, tribal chiefs Malik Hizur Rehman, Malik Fazal Rabi, and others were also present on the occasion. Muhammad Ali Shah said that steps will be taken to resume work on different roads projects in the district, adding that previous governments have launched different projects in tribal district Bajaur but work on them was yet to be started.
The work on Hajilong to Pasht road was started but due to lack of funds it was again left unfinished and now presents a scene of ruins, he added.
The Caretaker Minister promised that pending salaries of Pasht Hospital employees and distribution of flour quota would be solved soon.
He also visited the Public Private Partnership Hospital in Pasht area of Tehsil Salarzai and appreciated the arrangements of the hospital and heard the problems of the staff.
Muhammad Ali Shah took notice of the complaints on the distribution of flour and issued instructions to the DC Bajaur for the resolution of the problem as early as possible.
