Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur on Saturday de-notified Junaid Akbar as Focal Person to CM for Members National Assembly (MNAs) of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to a notification issued here by CM Secretariat, “The Hon’able Chief Minister, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been pleased to de-notify Mr, Junaid Akbar, MNA NA-09 Malakand as Focal Person to Chief Minister for Members National Assembly (MNAs) of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with immediate effect.”
The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, has appointed Shahid Ahmad, an MNA from Karak, as the Chief Minister’s focal person for MNAs elected from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This move aims to ensure effective communication and liaison on matters at both the provincial and federal levels.
Shahid Ahmad, who is a member of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, was elected as an MNA from the Karak district in the 2018 general elections.
Sources said that MNA Junaid Akbar has been removed as the focal person for supporting Shakeel Khan, who was removed as minister for Communication and Works earlier for alleged corruption.
