PESHAWAR: In a tit-for-tat incident, two mobile snatchers riding a motorbike fell on the road and were caught up by the people who after beating them up, handed them over to police. Police said the incident occurred in the vicinity of Shah Qabool police station where two street criminals after snatching a mobile phone from a citizen in Shuba Chowk fell from their bike during escape. People present on the occasion, rushed towards them and severely beat them both before handing them over to police. Police said a minor girl was also sitting on the tank of the motorbike with criminals to avoid being caught adding that the bike they were riding on slipped on the road soon after their escape attempt. Police shifted the criminal duo and the minor girl to Shah Qabool police station for interrogation and legal proceedings. APP
