Motorcycle-lifting gang busted, five stolen bikes recovered

Gulbahar Police have arrested two members of a motorcycle-lifting and snatching gang operating across multiple areas, including Ishrat Cinema Chowk, Qadirabad, Rashid Town, and Chairman’s Office.
The operation was carried out on the directives of SP Faqirabad Division Muhammad Arshad Khan and under the supervision of DSP Gulbahar Circle Akhtar Naseer Khan and SHO Gulbahar Police Station Rafiq Khan.
The accused, identified as Shahzeb, son of Najzeb, resident of Chairman’s Office, and Muhammad Bilal, son of Siraj, resident of Sheikhabad, were apprehended following a comprehensive investigation employing modern forensic and surveillance techniques. During the operation, five stolen motorcycles were recovered from their possession. Further investigations are ongoing.
The case began after residents Abid and Mohsin Khan separately reported motorcycle thefts to Gulbahar Police Station. Prompt action was taken, and a special team led by SHO Rafiq Khan was formed to trace the culprits.
Using CCTV footage from multiple locations and thorough questioning of known offenders, the investigation led to the identification and arrest of the two suspects. Both have confessed to their involvement in multiple incidents of motorcycle theft and snatching during the preliminary investigation.
SP Muhammad Arshad Khan lauded the police team for their swift and efficient action, reaffirming the department’s commitment to curbing street crime and protecting citizens’ property.
