PESHAWAR
The Peshawar Institute of Cardiology (PIC) and the Shifa International Hospital have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Friday to establish cooperative relations between the two hospitals on heart diseases.
Chief Executive of PIC Dr Shahkar Ahmad Shah and Shifa International Chief Executive Dr Manzoor H Qazi signed the MoU. The signing ceremony of MoU was held at PIC
Under the MoU, Shifa International Hospital will provide assistance in further enhancing the capacity of PIC Hospital staff. The aim of the MoU is to provide joint opportunities for both hospitals to work on heart diseases.
It is to note here that PIC provides health facilities to patients suffering from heart ailments in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Dr Manzoor said on the occasion that in a very short time PIC has proved its worth in the field of heart disease cure and its collaboration with Shifa International Hospital will broaden its horizon of research on cardiology.
