Muqam receives warm welcome at Shangla university

Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON, and President of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Engineer Amir Muqam on Saturday here visited Shangla University where he was accorded warm welcome.
Upin arrival, he was given a warm welcome at Shangla University. Upon reaching the university, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Sardar Khan, faculty members, and senior administrative officials received the Federal Minister.
A large number of university teachers, students and staff were also present on the occasion.
Subsequently, the Vice Chancellor provided the Federal Minister with a detailed briefing on Shangla University’s academic activities, ongoing development projects, challenges faced, and future objectives.
During the briefing, light was also shed on the educational facilities provided at the university, research projects, and initiatives related to student welfare.
Federal Minister Engineer Amir Muqam appreciated the role of Shangla University and said that such institutions are extremely important for promoting higher education in underdeveloped areas.
He assured full cooperation for the university’s development and praised the efforts of the faculty and administration.
At the conclusion of the visit, the Federal Minister also inspected various departments of the university and took part in a commemorative tree-planting activity.
