ISLAMABAD, Nov 20 (Online): NAB has completed 20 years old inquiry into alleged distribution of plots in LDA against former Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif.
According to sources Combined Investigation Team has sent the sealed report pertaining to inquiry to DG NAB.
Prosecution wing CIA will give its legal opinion on CIT report during regional board meeting.
Complaint was received against Nawaz Sharif on April 3, 2000.
According to NAB final decision is taken in the executive board meeting following the completion of any inquiry. Chairman NAB heads the executive board meeting.
According to complainant Nawaz Sharif in collaboration with DG LDA granted exemption of plot. Nawaz Sharif eliminated the plots quota and distributed plots among his favorites.
