PESHAWAR: The Chief Minister Mahmood Khan finally approved appointments of new Vice Chancellors (VCs) to seven public sector universities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). According to sources in the Higher Education Department (HED), a summary sought approval of CM-KP for the appointment of new VCs has been approved. Sources claimed that CM approved the name of Dr Rashid Ahmad for the post of VC Malakand University, Dr Hassan Sher for University of Swat, Dr Shahab named as VC University of SBBU Sheringal Dir Upper, Dr Safia Ahmad for SBBWU Peshawar, Dr Shahfiq-ur-Rehman for the University of Haripur. It has been learned that the HED department in the next couple of days would issue notifications of the aforementioned VCs to the seven public sector universities of the province. DLP Report
