Haji Ghulam Ali, the leader of Pakistan’s business community, visited FPCCI Capital office after becoming the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Aminullah Baig Vice President FPCCI and Incharge, Capital Office, Mirza Abdul Rehman Chairman Coordination organized a lavish lunch in the honor of Haji Ghulam Ali. The Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has given a warm welcome on his arrival at the FPCCI Capital office.
Patels of Flowers were showered while flower garlands and bouquets were presented by the members of FPCCI Capital Office. Speaking on the occasion, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said that the entire business community is basically the backbone of the country and the economy of the country is based upon the trade by the business community. We have to move towards a prosperity of Pakistan as the progress is determined by those who have the ability, passion and courage to overcome difficulties.
All the problems of the business community should be documented so that it could be discussed with the government and get the remedies of the problems. He suggested to organize a vast convention in convention center Islamabad. The Prime Minister will be chief guest in this and it will be beyond any political affiliation.
The biggest problem of the country is unemployment and creation of employment opportunities is the responsibility of trade Industries with the help of government. The current economic situation is very difficult and every Pakistani should contribute for the development of the country. We should forget about the past and should concentrate on future.
On this occasion, Irfan Iqbal Sheikh, President FPCCI has also given his message for Haji Ghulam Ali for his new appointment as the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said that it is a privilege for FPCCI as well as for business community of Pakistan that Government of Pakistan give this important assignment to one of visionary leader of Business community of Pakistan Haji Ghulam Ali. President FPCCI further stated that Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Haji Ghulam Ali will for sure play a pivotal role for the stability of economic situation of Pakistan. He said that it will promote business and increase the industrial and commercial activities in the country.
Speaking on this occasion, Aminullah Baig Vice President FPCCI and Incharge Capital Office and Mirza Abdul Rehman Chairman Coordination stated that Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is the most beloved personality of the business community it is the good luck of the business community of Pakistan that Haji Ghulam Ali is now Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa . Now it is now for sure that he will play his positive role in improvement of the economy and solving the problems of the business community.
They further said that the current economic situation of the country is very alarming. Inflation is on the rise, the country’s foreign exchange reserves are at the lowest level in the country’s history. The prices of petrol, electricity and gas are touching the sky and increasing day by day. Industries and factories are shutting down.
The business sector is devastated. Unemployment is increasing exponentially. They said that CPEC is a game changing project for Pakistan. The country’s economy can be boost up by providing facilities and increasing exports in various sectors including tourism, mining, gems, housing, hydropower, textiles, IT, agriculture and poultry.
The eyes of business community of Pakistan is now on Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Haji Ghulam Ali that he will play his role in bridging the gaps between the business community and the government and try to resolve the problems on priority basis.
On this occasion, former vice presidents of FPCCI Zafar Bakhtavari, Haji Fazal Elahi, Riyaz Khattak, Qaiser Khan Daudzai, President of Rawalpindi Chamber Saqib Rafiq, former President Asad Mashhadi, former President of Attock Chamber Tariq Mehmood, Islamabad Chamber Abid Khan, Nadeem Mansoor Syed, former president of Hunza Chamber Mehboob Rabbani, President of Sargodha Women’s Chamber Shamim Aftab, Senior Vice President of Rawalpindi Chamber Saboi Hussain, Shabana Ajmal, Executive Members of FPCCI Sheikh Abdul Razak, Fayyaz Ali, Parvaiz. Khattak, Liaqat Ahmad Khan, Zahid Habibullah, Abdul Rahman from Swabi Chamber, Mardan Chamber President Muhammad Zahir Shah, Sajjad Khan and others said that the Haji Ghulam Ali is the great leader of the business community of Pakistan.
Similarly, Governor Sindh is also a businessman. It is a good thing to have a businessman as governor. Giving government posts to business community is a positive change. Due to the economic crisis in the country, the political leadership have started to think that the survival of the country is in enhancement of the economy of the country.
If 30% of seats in the country’s parliament could be reserved for women, then there should be similar percentage for business community of Pakistan. The country is currently suffering from economic instability and it needs rehabilitation. The business community should stand firmly stands with government and similarly trade community should become an arm of the government and solve the problems on priority basis.
