Chairman, Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) Muhammad Faiq Shah emphasized that it is imperative to sign on a national charter to bring economic and political stability, peace and development in the country.
Faiq urged all institutions, political parties and influential segments to become part of this national charter.
He said his party is ready to give a complete charter, asking the government, opposition, all institutions and stakeholders to consider the ATP proposal seriously.
If we want to make Pakistan an progressive nation, we must sign a national charter, the ATP chief asserted while talking to media persons here on Sunday.
Shah emphasized sustainable policies should be crafted so that there will be no impact with change of government and transition of power in the country.
He continued to say that political turmoil has impacted adversely on the economy, justice and society.
It is essential to alter the present oppressive and out-dated system and give a new hope to the frustrated people of the country, he added.
Therefore, he urged all political forces and stakeholders to make joint efforts to end the ongoing political uncertainty to put the country on a path of sustainable economic and social progress.
Highlighting the significance of the visit of the Chinese foreign minister to Pakistan, Shah stressed the need for bringing relations between Pakistan and China to new heights, especially through CPEC.
Furthermore, he emphasized that strategic relations should be strengthened so that the impression of isolation in the world can be removed affluently.
Similarly, he called to foreign policy and strategy to be brought to the latest and modern lines.
Also, he demanded early completion of projects that had been initiated under the multi-billion dollars, China-Pakistan Economic Corridor to bring sustainable economic prosperity and progress in the country.
Shah cautioned that delay in CPEC-related projects would pose threats to peace and stability, besides path development and prosperity would become harder.
