The participation of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa team in the National Games is doubtful, games to be held in Karachi in the last week of January 2025. He said that the athletics track in the Peshawar Sports Complex has been under construction for the last two years, along with other sports facilities in the stadium have not been properly maintained, due to which the floors of badminton, squash courts and others including the Lala Rafiq Sports Arena have been damaged.
Things are bad, not even an international cricket match has been organized in Peshawar for many years, Arbab Niaz Cricket Stadium has not been completed yet, the condition of Lala Ayub Hockey Stadium is also not good, when departmental games were banned, the problems increased.
The players were heartened and the players should get big cash prizes for their achievements so that they can shine the name of the country and the nation all over the world in the future.
Due to swimming, we have been left behind and still the swimming pool of Peshawar is closed. Athletics and swimming have the most medals in the national games.
When these facilities are closed, how can the athletes perform? It is the third year that the annual grant of the associations is closed, due to which the associations are not in a position to hold any competition. Those who do are keeping the games alive under your support.
If the grant is not released and the associations do not get the annual grant, they will go out on the streets with the players and take their rights.
