Famous footballer of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, former member of Pakistan Football U-19 team and Pakistan Air Force (Islamabad) football team player Farhan Khan died after being hit by an unknown vehicle on Swabi-Jehangira Road.
Farhan Khan was seriously injured after being hit by an unknown motorcycle or vehicle, where he was transferred to District Hospital Swabi and later to CMH Hospital Rawalpindi, where he was later transferred to Combined Military Hospital in the early hours of Saturday, where he succumbed to head injuries in CMH Rawalpindi.
Young footballer Farhan Khan had severe head injuries. Deceased was a great footballer and was selected in the National U1q9 team. He was the most talented and capable football player. He was the cousin of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s well-known footballer and coach Wasim Dada.
Meanwhile, the people here have said that they will hold a peaceful protest against the crushing of footballer Farhan Khan in a road accident and the arrest of the unknown persons who escaped. On March 5th, a peaceful protest and walk will be held in Swabi Aman Chowk on the fourth day of mourning.
All footballers and other sports players of Swabi district have been requested to bring Farhan’s pictures and placards with them. The youth demanded of the Police to immediately trace out those who hit Farhan Khan and made their escape good.
