President Zardari, PM Shehbaz Sharif stress nation to abide by teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH)
Pakistan is abuzz with celebrations as it marks the day of Eid Milad un Nabi, commemorating the birth of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) on Tuesday.
While Muslims across the world mark this observe this occasion on the 12th of Rabi ul Awal in various ways, Pakistan stands out with its brightly illuminated streets, and buildings, that are adorned with vibrant lights, predominantly green lights to honour this day.
On this day, Muslims hold processions, milad gatherings and prayer ceremonies. Additionally, the Karachi Traffic Police also issued a detailed traffic diversion plan for three processions set to be held today on the MA Jinnah Road which will be closed for the day.
Furthermore, joining the nationwide celebrations, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif highlighted the significance of the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) for Muslims in the messages to the nation to mark this auspicious day.
