JARANWALA: Punjab government has abolished Regularization of Service Act -2018. Newly appointed contract employees will not be entitled to pension on the regularization of their services too. New appointments will be made on the basis of lumpsum payment instead of pay scales. The decision has been taken to lessen financial burden on national exchequer under head of pension. It has been made clear in the notification the steps which have been taken prior to 2018-law will remain intact. Online
