Interior minister Mohsin Naqvi while pursuing zero tolerance policy on overbilling has ordered to accelerate crackdown against the electricity stealers. Interior minister directed Interior ministry officers to show 100 percent performance against overbilling and power stealers. Mohsin Naqvi said overbilling will not be tolerated at any cost. Action will be taken against the staff involved in overbilling all across the country indiscriminately. No compromise will be made on overbilling, he warned. Overbilling is tantamount to do injustice with the people.
The staff members involved in it don’t deserve for any leniency. Relief will be given to people immediately.
Security will be provided to FIA in the sensitive areas of Balochistan and KP to rein in electricity stealing incidents.
