Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday directed the anti-encroachment teams to not demolish shelters, small shops and stalls in Islamabad, sources said on Friday. The prime minister directed this after sounding strong criticism from opposition benches and public. To dig out solution of the problem, a committee has been constituted. State Minister for Interior Shaheyar Afridi will be the head of the committee. The committee will review CDA policy and will give recommendations under the light of Imran Khan’s directions. The committee will also formulate government police under the order of Supreme Court of Pakistan. It is pertinent to mention here that the prime minister has directed all departments to launch operations against encroachment in the city.
